Litterary Review

In the book Tangerine, Paul Fisher and his family of four move to Tangerine, Florida in the early days of his seventh-grade school year. Even though Tangerine looks like a normal town, it is not. With sinkholes swallowing local schools, fire burning underground for years and lightening striking at the same time every day, Tangerine is far from normal. But, Paul can see through Tangerine’s problems and what really lies beneath its surface.
Adjusting to life is hard for Paul because of the continuous harassment from his football-star brother. But when he joins the soccer team, it all becomes very easy. With the help of his fellow teammates, Paul discovers his true self and what really lies beneath the outside of his strange new hometown. Also, Paul gains the courage to uncover some of the secrets that his family has been keeping from him for way to long. Tangerine is a truly gripping story that will keep you reading for hours.
