Tangerine Middle is a very different school than Lake Winsdor becasue people there can see through just the outside of life, and what it really means to be kind. Kids like Joey at Lake Winsdor are stuck up and believe that all of the students at Tangerine Middle are naughty and bad people. The soccer teams at both schoools honor the sport. But, the Tangerine Middle players take the game as something more than the students at Lake Winsdor. They believe that the game is not just a game, but a war. To win the war, they must put their lives on the line to succeed. There is a definite fine-line between the two schools.
Tangerine was writen by Edward Bloor, who was born in 1950. It was published in 1997. Then, Tangerine went on to being published by at least four publishers. They were: Scholastic, Harcourt, Perfection Learning Prebound, and Turtleback Books. It is a easy read of about 300 pages. Tangerine is a renowned book that has been loved for years.
