Tangerine: The Facts
Tangerine was writen by Edward Bloor, who was born in 1950. It was published in 1997. Then, Tangerine went on to being published by at least four publishers. They were: Scholastic, Harcourt, Perfection Learning Prebound, and Turtleback Books. It is a easy read of about 300 pages. Tangerine is a renowned book that has been loved for years.

I always felt there was something Paul was holding back, even from himself, and in a way he wanted to be different, and keep to himself.. Your questions are good, girls.
I think that Paul was not accepted at first because he had come from Lake Winsdor. The students at Lake Winsdor and Tangerine Middle are very different. Paul was percieved to be so different, that he just was not accepted. His glasses were not the reason to why Paul was not accepted. But, his glasses were a very direct way to make fun of him with. Over time though, Paul eventually came to be liked and was a very essential asset to Tangerine Middle.
I think he was not accepted because he was diffrent than everyone else. Most of the time, chikdren are not as accepting to people that are diffrent then they are.
